POK KAI (pok gai) Cantonese for "Go die in the street". In Hong Kong, it is a general purpose swearword, but in Singapore, it seems to mean that you've either gone out of business or declared bankruptcy. Sometimes, the Hokkien word "leow", meaning "finished", is added for extra emphasis, as in "pok kai leow". "Of course lor, he was playing contra shares and went pok kai."
